Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Sun Pharma Oncology Micro-Learning Platform (“the Platform”), operated by Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals (Pty) Ltd., a Sun Pharma company (“Sun Pharma”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By registering for and using the Platform, participants agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility
   Participation in the Platform is open only to registered healthcare professionals, authorised oncology product authorisers, pharmacists, healthcare practitioners, or approved medical professionals operating within South Africa.
   
   
2. Platform Overview
   The Platform provides oncology-related educational content, product training, quizzes, learning modules, and engagement activities. Participants may earn points through platform participation and engagement activities determined by Sun Pharma.
   
   
3. Registration & Account Responsibilities
   Participants must provide accurate and current information during registration and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
   
   
4. Educational Content Disclaimer
   All educational material provided on the Platform is intended for informational and professional educational purposes only and does not replace independent clinical judgement or professional medical advice.
   
   
5. Prize Fulfilment and Delivery
   Rewards, vouchers, hampers, and promotional prizes are subject to availability and may not be exchanged for cash. Sun Pharma reserves the right to substitute rewards where necessary.

   Hamper purchases from specific brands remain at the discretion of the fulfilment team. Checkers Sixty60 is the preferred provider where available in the participant’s region; alternative retailers or suppliers may be used where necessary.

   Checkers Sixty60 vouchers, deliveries, or rewards are subject to the retailer’s terms and conditions, service availability, delivery area restrictions, and operating capabilities.

   Prizes are fulfilled every Friday between 10:30 and 17:00, subject to availability and campaign requirements. Winners must reply to the prize confirmation email with their preferred delivery address and timeslot. Any responses received after 17:00 on a Thursday will be included in the next fulfilment cycle. Delivery dates and times are subject to operational and logistical constraints.

   The hamper has a total value of R300, inclusive of the delivery fee, which may vary depending on the delivery area.

6. Leaderboards & Competition Mechanics
   Sun Pharma reserves the right to audit participant activity and remove points or rankings where abuse or manipulation is suspected.
   
   
7. Campaign Changes & Platform Availability
   Sun Pharma reserves the right to modify these Terms, amend campaign structures or rewards, pause or discontinue the Platform, and adjust points systems or eligibility requirements.
   
   
8. Hamper Winning Limit
   Each individual has three (3) opportunities to win a hamper per calendar month. A maximum of two (2) hampers may be won by any individual per day. This daily limitation is in place to ensure fair participation and to prevent abuse or manipulation of the competition mechanics.

9. Acceptable Use
   Participants agree not to use the Platform unlawfully, share login credentials, attempt to compromise platform security, or engage in fraudulent or unethical behaviour.
   
   
10. Privacy & Data Protection
    Personal information collected through the Platform will be processed in accordance with applicable South African data protection laws, including POPIA.
    
    
11. Intellectual Property
    All Platform content, branding, logos, educational materials, graphics, and campaign assets remain the intellectual property of Sun Pharma or its licensors.
    
    
12. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sun Pharma shall not be liable for technical interruptions, delayed reward delivery, loss of data, or reliance on educational material.
    
    
13. Disqualification
    Sun Pharma reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms or engages in fraudulent conduct.
    
    
14. Governing Law
    These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

16. Acceptance of Terms
    By registering for or participating in the Sun Pharma Oncology Micro-Learning Platform, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
